Freedom Weekend in Lisbon Winter

Day 1: / Lisbonne

Arrival at Lisbon Airport. Transfer to your 3-star hotel in Lisbon (optional 4-star hotel in Lisbon). Check into your rooms and overnight stay.

Day 2: Lisbonne

Breakfast. You will receive a Transport Pass (valid for 72 hours) so you can get around on public transport. Included: Tuk-tuk tour (1 hour) to discover Lisbon's most picturesque neighbourhoods – Chiado, Bairro Alto, Alfama (with English-speaking driver-guide). Suggestions for your day: Explore Rossio Station and the D. Maria II National Theatre. Discover Rossio Square, Figueira Square, the Santa Justa Elevator, the Chiado neighbourhood and Augusta Street – a shopping street that ends at Commerce Square. Explore the Sé de Lisboa and the Church of Santo António. In the evening, we recommend dinner and a Fado show at a restaurant in the heart of Bairro Alto – considered Lisbon's bohemian district, where the nights are long and lively. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lisbonne

Breakfast at the hotel. Suggestions for your day: Visit the Belém district. Discover the Jerónimos Monastery, built by King Manuel I and considered a masterpiece of Manueline architecture. Then, discover the Tower of Belém, an elegant Manueline tower. Pass by the Monument to the Discoveries, a work by sculptor Leopoldo de Almeida, which stands 52 metres tall. Stop at the Pastelaria de Belém to sample a pastel de Belém, a delicious little puff pastry tart. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lisbonne /

Breakfast at the hotel. Depending on flight schedules, transfer to the airport.
